I want to thank you for your prayer the last two months as well as during our time of outreach July 2-6. Our experience last year showed us our desperate need for God’s power to break through the wall of unbelief in this international neighborhood in Toronto, so we knew we needed a stronger foundation of prayer. We also believed that God wanted us to not focus so broadly in contacting folks but to go deeper with folks in sharing the gospel. And like any venture, we really weren’t sure what God was doing until we arrived in Toronto and jumped in with both feet and walked by faith and His Spirit.
So the seed of the gospel has been sown and now we desire to see “God’s rain” fall on this seed and spring up to eternal life. Would you please pray for the folks with whom we had significant gospel conversations? Would you also please pray that Christ would establish the Sovereign Grace Church of Toronto by adding to their number at least eight new families this year who love our Savior and Lord and want to be a part of establishing a new church in a neighborhood which desperately needs the light of Christ?
